Anatomy of a great homepage.

Start with the basics

Take a look at your website from the point of view of a potential customer. Is it obvious what your business is? Are your messages clear? Is it easy to navigate? Does it look appealing?

  • Easy to use navigation
  • Clear contact details
  • Calls to action
  • A good mix of text and images
  • No pop-ups
  • No spelling or grammar mistakes
  • Visual appeal

Your website is often your visitors first point of contact with you, so you need to make a good impression and encourage people to buy your products/ use your services. The more time people spend on your website, the more Google will favour you and be more likely to rank you higher in searches.
